Home plant care and greening for your flat
We also help with home plant care and greening flats in Budapest, using the same know-how we've used to green offices since 1988. If you've already read up on your plant in our Plant library but still can't tell what's wrong with it, or you simply don't have the time, here's what we can do for you.

Regular plant care at home
If you have lots of plants or travel often, you can leave the regular care to us. We visit for a predictable monthly fee and send a photo report after every visit, so you can see exactly what we did and how your plants are doing.
We'll also take over your existing plants once we've assessed them. That's when you'll find out which one is in the wrong spot and which one is ready for a bigger pot.

Greening your flat and balcony
For an empty corner, a shelf or the balcony, we choose a plant to suit the light, add a matching pot and plant it for you. Instead of the most fashionable species, we bring the one that will genuinely do well in that spot, whether it's a north-facing room or a sunny balcony.
On a balcony, orientation matters most, so there too we start from the light. We match the pot to the size of the plant and the style of your home, and we take care of the planting, so you don't have to wrestle with bags of soil.
Moss pictures and green walls for your home
A moss picture is made from preserved moss, so it needs no watering and no light. It can go in the hallway, on the darkest wall of the living room, or anywhere a potted plant wouldn't survive.
If you'd like living plants on the wall, we build green walls for homes too. A living green wall comes with automatic irrigation, and we choose the plants to suit the light in the room, so you won't be climbing a ladder with a watering can.

Repotting and the plant doctor
If one of your plants is turning yellow, dropping its leaves or has outgrown its pot, we can also help with a one-off visit. We call this the “plant doctor”: we look at the plant, tell you what might be wrong with it, and repot it if needed.
Before you call, it's worth taking a look at our Plant library. We've described the light and water needs of twelve common houseplants there, and often that alone shows that the plant is simply in the wrong place.
Frequently asked questions
How much does home plant care cost?
The price depends on the size, the light and the plants, so we give you a precise quote after the free on-site survey. Regular care comes with a predictable monthly fee, so you know in advance what to budget for.
How often should I water my houseplants?
It depends on the species, the light and the season. In our Plant library we give watering frequencies for office conditions, which are a good starting point for heated flats too: a ZZ plant is fine with water every 2-3 weeks, while a peace lily wants it every week and droops to let you know it's thirsty.
What plant should I put in a dark room?
For low light, the ZZ plant and the snake plant are the safest bets. In partial shade a Kentia palm does well too, and it has the bonus of being non-toxic to pets. If a wall gets no light at all, we suggest a moss picture there.
Do you green balconies too, or only work indoors?
We green balconies too, as for us they're part of the home. But if it's about a garden, a lawn, tree felling or irrigation, that's done by GazEmberek, our sister team for gardens, who work outdoors.
